Evangelist Glenda Camara is an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at an early age; born in Latta, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Carl and Ida B. McArthur. She is married for over 30 years to Mr. Yakouba Camara and they have four children, and seven grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking and helping others. She resides in Lanham, Maryland. Evangelist Camara has traveled extensively throughout the United States, West Africa and Jamaica, West Indies spreading the gospel of Jesus
Christ.
She is the president of Girl Talk, Inc., Founder and Chair of Psalms 91:1 Ministries, and the Apostolic Fellowship Conferences Of Churches, Inc., headquartered in the state of Maryland. She attended the Walden University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management and a subsequent Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. She attended the Johns Hopkins University where she received her certification in Microcomputer Application.
She has worked over 30 years in ministry and 30 years in the healthcare field. She was pastor of Outreach Ministries, GHCOC, Inc. for 17 years where her responsibilities and duties included the oversight of parishioners and traveling to bring the Gospel of Christ to the masses. She has conducted tent revivals throughout the North and South Carolina, and conducted Women’s Ministry in the United States, Jamaica and West Africa. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
